Friends of the Lakota Nation
CORE VALUES & BELIEFS
We are a small, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the South Dakota Indian Reservations with the hope to provide assistance for its communities. Our purpose is to support and empower the Lakota people as they continually build hope for their future. With the help of numerous volunteers and donors, we provide basic family assistance through new and gently used donations, and serve, the best we can, with any immediate or long-term needs. Simply put, we are a group of friends helping friends. Please ask how you can get involved and lend your support for the Lakota Nation.

The projects we focus on center upon family and community services. Our continuous goal is to provide sustainable assistance through partnerships developed with the Lakota community members and other organizations who can best serve the needs of the community as a whole.
In our efforts to help support the Lakota community, we desire to build long-lasting partnerships with those who are similarly interested in providing support services for the Pine Ridge Reservation. We are especially interested in education, health and wellness initiatives, eco-building, and suicide prevention.
